FAQs

What are our qualifications as dog trainers?

With four years of medical education on animals and five years of training experience, this allows for proper handling skills with your dog.

What is your training methodology?

Our training techniques are adjusted for each individual dog. Training a working bred dog, a playful puppy, and a fearful dog all require very different methods of training. We are not purely positive reinforcement trainers. When a puppy is chewing on your shoes,  the last thing they need is positive reinforcement. They need correction and then immediately followed with praise when they stop.

Will my dog only listen to the dog trainer?

This is a concern many people have when they get their dog professionally trained. Some dog trainers stop the training with the dog. We spend the time it takes to make sure that you have acquired the skills it takes to get through the transition of authority so your dog responds to you as well as us.

Will my dog be safe and happy?

We are dog parents just like you. There is nothing we want more than to make sure every fur baby is taken well care of while with us. The time we have with them is short but their well-being is our priority.

My dog is anxious and fearful. Will training help?

Yes. Training will put you into the role of alpha which takes a lot of weight off of your dog's shoulder. Your dog will learn to lean on you and your confidence.
